On Friday, February 2nd from twelve to three in the afternoon the Spring Employment Fair was held in the East Arena of the Ryder Center. Over a hundred employers attended the fair in the arena looking for employees.
Jaime McArthur, a junior attending the fair as an Orientation Leader explained the importance of the event.
“The Employment Fair helps students expand their horizons.”
Most of those attending the fair were graduates and senior students in formal business attire with multiple copies of their resumes ready.
Besides those who were looking for full-time employees, there were also many part-time, co-op, and summer job opportunities that underclassmen could partake in. Many of which were for multiple county parks and summer camps. There were also many internships available for any students looking to become an intern.
Students looking to attend future employment fairs can visit the Career services office in Wickes hall for more information on upcoming events.
