At 3:30 p.m. Jan. 8, a 22-yearold female student reported that she was approached in Meijer by two older men asking if she was an SVSU student. After she said that she was, they asked her if she wanted to be in a TV reality show they were shooting about two men from different backgrounds. She refused and left. The subjects were identified and spoken to about approaching people in that manner.
At 8:21 p.m. Jan. 10, student employees were closing down the Fieldhouse when they found two subjects still in the building. The subjects were asked to leave. Ten minutes later, the two were sitting on the turf and refused to leave. An officer arrived and spoke with the two subjects, who advised they did not know about the shortened hours for break and left.
At 8:05 p.m. Jan. 12, an 18-yearold female student reported that she had been choked during a fight after the basketball game in the Ryder Center. She was with another student, who was having an issue with a non-student, and a fight broke out. During the fight, a male pushed her against the wall and started to choke her. All parties were separated and left the building. The incident is still under investigation.
