“It means it’s time to be motivated. As a junior this year, it’s go time. It’s time to get involved, focus on building my resume — not only to get a job in the future, but also to cater to my interests and actually apply the skills I’ve been learning.” Makenna Stamos, junior | English literature major.
“It means a lot to me because I really love how beautiful the campus is. It’s very relaxing. In the courtyard, we have the fountains, and when we are first starting, it’s very green, very springy, and beautiful. I also love being here because I love having a schedule, and I work at the Starbucks on campus. I’m very passionate about coffee and just being a busy bee.” Anastee Davis, sophomore | cell biology, molecular biology, and biomedical sciences major.
“Being back on campus means a sense of community for me. I certainly have found so many amazing people through my job, my roommates, and other clubs on campus. I’m just so happy to have that community back.” Lucia Couch, junior | management major.
“It means a lot. I really like it. I took a two-year gap between high school and college, so actually making that decision was hard enough. But coming back, it’s really nice to be back and be independent. The campus is really nice.” Lizzy Rapson, sophomore | general business major.
“To be on campus for the first time ever, for me, it really means a sense of community. [It means] seeing a bunch of people that I know or new people that I’m going to know on campus, mostly at Starbucks, I’m a big fan. … Really getting to know people, meeting a lot of very friendly, interesting people.” Isaac Anger, freshman | music education major.
