No matter if you have lived on campus for three days or three years, there are always new things you can challenge yourself with. However, many people are set in their routines and don’t think about how they could get involved or what activities they can do on campus or off.
How many of you have adventured outside of campus into the community? Or have done a new activity on campus in the past few weeks? If your answer is no to either or both of these questions, this bucket list column is for you.
Each week I am going to bring one event on campus and one event off campus that I challenge the readers to do. This is a way to get you to experience new cultures and activities while sometimes stepping out of your comfort zone. Let’s look into the events planned this week.
By attending campus events, you can meet new people, make memories with friends, and something all college students love – free stuff!
All you need to attend most on-campus events is your student ID, making it a great choice if you’re on a budget.
If you are feeling more adventurous, have a car, or can carpool, the featured off-campus event this week is the choice for you! Although off-campus events can be more expensive, life experiences are worth an occasional splurge.
Either, or both of these events would be great to add to your bucket list and allow you a chance to push yourself outside your comfort zone or experience new parts of the community you never knew about.
Stay tuned each week to see what events there are to enhance your college experience!
