Student Association held a Roundtable discussion with SVSU Police this past Wednesday, November 1st. The event took place in the Alumni Lounge from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The event offered students in attendance a chance to grab pizza and drinks, alongside candy which was generously provided by SVSU police themselves.
Several officers from the SVSU Police department attended the event to help bring safety awareness to students on campus.
At the event, students were encouraged to ask the officers questions regarding policies, procedures, and personal opinions to help build a stronger rapport with the department.
Students who missed the event are welcomed to visit the department during the hours of 7a.m.-5p.m. on Mondays and 7 a.m. to 12 a.m. every other day of the week. SVSU Police can also be reached by email adispatch@SVSU.edu.
