Alexis Tracy is a third-year student-athlete who runs for the Cross-Country team.
Throughout this season, Tracy has been working on staying healthy and focused as their season progresses, especially looking towards the GLIAC Championships on Oct. 21st at Michigan Tech in Houghton, MI.
Tracy and the rest of the women’s cross-country team also worked hard towards their goal of winning at the Cardinal Classic on Sept. 30th, 2023.
Outside of athletics, and especially as a junior, her goals are “to graduate and continue to push myself both academically and athletically to be the best version of myself I can be” she said.
SVSU has a lot of attractive qualities to student-athletes, especially our top-of-the-line facilities and the small class sizes, both of which Alexis mentioned as some of her favorite parts of going to school here. She said “the small school feeling” was a big sell towards her choosing SVSU.
The women’s team placed first in the Cardinal Classic but placed last during their last meet.
The next Cross-Country meet will be held at Lewis University on Oct. 7th.
