Connor Beach, sophomore student athlete who plays for the Men’s Soccer Team, offered insight into the team’s chemistry and his personal outlook on playing a sport here at SVSU.

Beach mentioned the “top-class” facilities offered through SVSU, the coaching staff, and the team culture were the main components in his choice to play for the team.

As a goalkeeper, Beach said his favorite part of the game is “celebrating goals with the boys”.

Looking forward to the rest of the season, Beach as well as the rest of the team are looking to win the GLIAC Title for the second year in a row. If they achieve that, they look towards the NCAA tournament with hopes of winning there as well.

With a big win against Northwood to help them start of the season, the Men’s Soccer team has more work to put in but is looking forward to doing so as the season progresses.
