SVSU confirmed the cancelation of in-person fall commencements in an email sent to students on Nov. 11.
The commencement ceremonies, planned for Nov. 19-21, will be replaced by a virtual ceremony on Friday, Dec. 18.
The email said all graduates will receive grad boxes in the mail following the ceremony. Students are still encouraged to pick up their caps and gowns from the bookstore.
Graduates will receive additional information over the the next few weeks.
