In-person classes will be moved online following Thanksgiving break, according to an email sent to students from University Communications on June 18.
Moving instruction online will help minimize transmission during a potential resurgence of COVID-19, said President Don Bachand.
The fall semester will start Monday, Aug. 31, as scheduled. Students will not be required to return to campus following Thanksgiving break. However, support services are expected to still be available through the end of the semester.
The email also said the move-in schedule will be staggered to keep students safe. More information on housing is expected to come in July.
Students will be updated as new information in made available.
