Bicycle theft at UV East

On Mar. 1, a commuter student at SVSU had their bicycle stolen from UV East. The suspect was tracked by officers from the time he took the bicycle until he walked into 7/11.

Catalytic converter theft at parking lot J2

On Mar. 2, a commuter student at SVSU reported to police that their catalytic converter and O2 sensor were stolen while their vehicle was parked in parking lot J2 on Mar. 1 between 7:00 p.m. and 12:00 a.m. The victim suspects the incident may have occurred at their apartment complex in Saginaw Township.

Non-SVSU student incident on campus

On Feb. 25, officers were approached by a non-SVSU student who reported that their intoxicated friend had taken off on foot and they were unable to find them. After a search of the main campus area, the non-SVSU student was located and treated by medical personnel.

Wallet theft at Ryder Center

On Feb. 26, Officer MacDonald spoke with a non-SVSU student who reported that their wallet was stolen. The non-student was attending the track event at the Ryder Center and had their wallet taken from their belongings. The wallet was not recovered.
