Suspicious Door Knocking
On Jan. 30 at 9:45 p.m., a male student was knocking on female resident’s door in University Village. The knocking made her uncomfortable. She also reported that she heard a male yelling and slamming items in the area. The male was found and advised to stop knocking on doors.
Larceny
On Feb. 1 at 12:37 p.m., an 18-year-old female student reported that someone had taken her clothes from the Living Center South laundry room. Officers were able to locate the suspect, who confessed and returned the property. The incident was turned over to the Student Code of Conduct.
Traffic Stop
On Feb. 5 at 11:25 p.m., officers observed a vehicle traveling down Bay Road without its lights on. The 20-year-old male student was discovered to have a suspended license. He was issued a citation and released.
Suspicious Vehicle
On Feb. 7 at 12:57 a.m., a 21-year-old female student advised that she was walking out of Curtiss to J-lot when she saw a suspicious vehicle in the circle. The vehicle circled around again, which scared her, and she went back into Curtiss. She found someone to walk her out, and the vehicle was gone.
Hit and Run
On Feb. 10 at 9:31 p.m., a student driving on Pierce Road witnessed a vehicle traveling at high speed. The vehicle drove over a yield sign straight through the roundabout and continued west on Pierce Road. There were several reports of this vehicle doing other things in Saginaw County. The non-student driver was arrested in Vasser for operating under the influence of alcohol.
