SVSU plans to have students return to campus for the fall semester, according to an email sent to students from President Don Bachand on May 13.
The email stated that faculty and staff worked together to create a New Expectations for a Safer Tomorrow (NEST) plan. The plan addresses topics such as protocols for on-campus safety, flexible instructional models and access to medical services.
An expanded description of NEST can be found in a University Communications press release on the SVSU Newsroom web page.
Bachand said NEST will be altered as necessary to meet changing federal and state guidelines. Students will be notified as updates are made available.
