Provost Deborah Huntley sent out an email March 19 stating that students can decide to go pass/no-credit or graded for the winter semester.
Undergraduate students will be able to chose which courses to go pass/no-credit or no credit. They can decide in mid-April until after finals grades for their classes are submitted. Students who do not pass a course can select “no credit” so their GPA is not affected.
“We know that the sudden move to online and remote instruction comes with uncertainty,” Huntley stated in the email. “You are concerned about your academic progress and rightfully so. We have decided to provide all undergraduate students with a pass/no-credit option for their classes this semester. We hope this will bring some peace of mind for many of you.”
More details will be made available closer to the mid-April marker.
