Defunding Planned Parenthood is a great loss for women

It has been in the news for a while now that cuts have been made to Planned Parenthood.

There has also been speculation that Planned Parenthood can financially make it on its own without funding from the government, but Planned Parenthoods have already been shutting down, mostly in Ohio, due to not being able to support the clinics.

The defunding of Planned Parenthood was one of the absolute biggest mistakes our government could make.

A lot of people were in favor of defunding Planned Parenthood because it offers abortions.

Unless you have been living under a rock, you probably know that abortions and whether to ban them have been circulating the news as well.

People who support the defunding of Planned Parenthood based off this one issue are ignorant and uneducated.

Planned Parenthood offers so many more great perks to women, including STI testing, birth control, cancer screenings, pap smears, vaccines, free condoms, hormone replacement therapies and even vasectomies for men.

Because of the defunding bills being passed, Planned Parenthood no longer gets the grants and reimbursements it once did.

This means it is are forced to turn away some patients who can’t afford what they offer.

This is a huge loss for women, whether or not you personally support Planned Parenthood.

Women who don’t have the kind of financial stability they need for these things could once go to Planned Parenthood, but now they are yet again being rejected.

The clinic, in my opinion, is one of the more affordable ways of handling whatever situation you may be in, and one of the safest and most discreet.

It has helped millions all over the world, and we have single-handedly taken a great option away from many people.

My biggest concerns of the defunding of Planned Parenthood circle around abortion.

I won’t get too far into it, but taking away Planned Parenthood only takes away safe procedures, which is another major downfall.

We are putting a lot of women at risk by taking away their safest options.

The stigma around Planned Parenthood and abortions is so out of control that it could lead many women down the wrong paths.

I believe it’s our bodies and our choices, but because we can’t all agree, something wonderful and helpful has been ripped away.

I fear for women who, because they can’t get the help they need, will be forced out of their homes, perform unsafe procedures on themselves and damage some part of their body or even take their own lives.

I have never personally gone to Planned Parenthood, but as a woman, I understand how effective and great it can be for people in need.

Women’s rights in America are slowly being taken away, and it is a shame to see we are walking backward when we should be taking steps forward.

It sort of disgusts me how men are making these decisions for us, but I won’t go too far into that because it’s also women who have the privilege of saying they never needed those types of services.

Again, very ignorant.

I understand this issue is never really going to go away.

There is always going to be someone who supports abortions and someone who doesn’t.

I hope there comes a day where we all can respect our personal decisions and not do anything to affect the choices of others.
