Property Damage
At 4:45 p.m. on April 4, a 19-year-old male student reported that he parked in J-2 Lot on April 2, and when he returned on April 4, he found that someone had keyed his passenger door. There is a suspect and this case was still under investigation.
At 6:47 p.m. on April 4, a 47-year-old faculty member reported that she drove home and found she had a flat tire. She reported her car was parked in a lot and believes there was a nail put in her tire maliciously. She has been having issues with a student and suspected it may be related.
Suspicious Situation
At 9:30 p.m. on April 4, a 21-year-old female student reported that while she was at a gas station at the corner of M-84 and I-75, she was approached by an older white male who came up to her window. She drove away and he followed her in his vehicle to SVSU. This situation was still under investigation.
At 12:15 a.m. on April 6, officers were called to A-Lot, where they observed around 75 people having a party in the lot. They were asked to leave.
Fire Alarm
At 12:08 p.m. on April 9, a fire alarm was set off in Merry Jo Brandimore House. Upon arrival, there was smoke in the hallway. When officers entered, they found that there was an empty pot on a burner that was turned on. The room was full of smoke, but there was no other structural damage.
