Possible road rage leads to shots fired at Bay and Pierce

At 5:40 a.m., shots were fired near Bay and Pierce, according to a Rave Alert sent out by SVSU at 7:18 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17.

There was no information indicating that the incident is related to the university, the alert stated. It is believed to be related to road rage, it stated.

The two vehicles believed to be involved were a Chrysler Sebring and an unknown Jeep style vehicle, the alert stated. The vehicles were last seen driving west on Pierce Road from Bay and south on Bay Road, the alert stated.

University Police did not have any additional information about the case as of press time.
